How to Use TaoTronics Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter & Adapter

How to Charge TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter?

  1. Connect the charging port with any USB charging adapter or active computer USB port.
  2. Charging will start automatically with LED indicator turning red.
  3. The transmitter is fully charged when LED indicator turns off.

Note: Make sure the battery is fully charged before putting the transmitter away for storage. Charge the transmitter at least once every 3 months when not using for a long time.

How to Pair TaoTronics Transmitter with your Bluetooth device?

  1. Make sure the transmitter and your Bluetooth device are next to each other (within 3 feet).
  2. The first time you use the transmitter, press and hold the Power Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Now the transmitter is in pairing mode.
  3. Please follow the instruction of your Bluetooth receiving device to bring it into pairing mode and it should automatically pair with the transmitter. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn red and then flash blue.

Note：

  • The Bluetooth transmitter can remember previous paired devices.
  • If the transmitter cannot pair with your Bluetooth device, clear the pairing history by pressing the Power Button twice when the transmitter are on until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Then restart the transmitter to pair again. You may need to try this a few times if it does not work on your first attempt.
  • In order to achieve low latency, please make sure your receiving Bluetooth device also support Qualcomm aptX Low Latency codec, otherwise you may experience noticeable lag between sound and picture.
  • Please do not connect TT-BA01 to an amplifier output, which may cause over-voltage and damage the adapter.

How to Pair TaoTronics Bluetooth adapter in TX mode?

  1. Set the adapter to TX mode and connect it to your audio transmitting device.
  2. Place your Bluetooth audio receiving device within a 3 feet / 1 meter range and set it to pairing
  3. Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds (LED indicator flashes blue slowly) and tap twice to enter pairing mode (LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately). After approximately 30 seconds, the pairing will be done (LED indicator in solid blue).

Note: In order to achieve low latency, please make sure your receiving Bluetooth device also support Qualcomm aptX Low Latency codec, otherwise you may experience noticeable lag    between sound and picture. Please do not connect the adapter to an amplifier output in TX mode, which may cause over-voltage and damage the adapter.

How to Pair TaoTronics Bluetooth adapter in RX mode?

Press and hold the Power Button of the adapter for 5 seconds (LED indicator flashes blue slowly). It will start pairing 5 seconds after being powered on (LED indicator flashes red and blue alternatively). 

  1. Activate the Bluetooth function on your phone and search for the nearby Bluetooth devices:
  • For iOS: Settings > Bluetooth > On
  • For Android: Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth: On > Scan for devices
  1. Find “TaoTronics TT-XXXXX” (your product model No.) in the search results and tap on it to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.

Note:

  • The adapter enters pairing mode automatically when powered on for the first time.
  • The original pairing memory will be cleared after a mode switch. It will automatically start pairing each time it’s powered on.
  • If a PIN code is required for pairing, try 0000 (four zeroes), 8888 (four eights), 1111 (four ones), or 1234.
  • The adapter can remember previously paired devices and will attempt to pair with devices automatically, without going into pairing mode.

How to Pair with Two Devices at the Same Time in TX Mode?

In TX mode, the adapter is able to pair with two Bluetooth stereo earphones/speakers at the same time.

  1. Follow the previous instructions in the “Pairing” section to pair the TT-BA07 with your first device.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth function on your first device, tap the Power Button twice to pair and connect to your second device.
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your first device. In approximately 30 seconds, the first device will automatically connect in.

Note:

  • When you pair with two devices, both can play music at the same time.
  • The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on.

How to Care and Maintain TaoTronics Bluetooth Adapter?

  • Keep the adapter away from heat and humidity.
  • Do not expose the adapter to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
  • Do not try to take the adapter apart. It may cause serious damage.
  • Do not drop or knock the adapter on hard surfaces as it damages the interior circuit.
  • Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
  • Do not scrape the surface with sharp objects.

How to Charge TaoTronics Wireless Receiver?

  3. The receiver is fully charged when the LED indicator turns off. Note: · Make sure the battery is fully charged before putting the receiver away for storage. Charge the receiver at least once every 6 months when not using for a long time.

How to Pair TaoTronics Wireless Receiver?

  1. Make sure the receiver and your Bluetooth device are next to each other (within 1 meter / 3 feet).
  2. The first time you use the receiver, press and hold the Power Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately to start pairing.
  3. 3) Activate Bluetooth on your phone and search for the nearby Bluetooth connection. Find “TaoTronics TT-XXXXX” (your product model No.) in the search results. Tap on the name to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue.
